These Terms & Conditions apply to all patients and visitors of Hamilton Medical Centre.

Appointments
Appointments are required and can be booked online via HotDoc or by calling our reception team. Walk-in appointments are not available.

Face-to-face and telehealth appointments are offered subject to availability and clinical appropriateness.

Fees & Billing
Hamilton Medical Centre offers bulk billing for eligible services (conditions apply).

Eligibility for bulk billing may depend on:
Registration with MyMedicare
The type and length of consultation
Clinical suitability

Some services are not bulk billed, including but not limited to:
Dressings and wound care
ECG
ABI
Medical reports (including insurance-related reports)
Vaccinations
Ear syringing
Long or extended consultations

Our reception team can provide information about fees prior to your appointment.

Missed Appointments
If you are unable to attend your appointment, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible. Missed appointments or late cancellations may affect appointment availability for other patients.

Telehealth Services
Telehealth appointments are available where clinically appropriate. Patients are responsible for ensuring they have suitable technology and a private environment for telehealth consultations.

Prescribing Policy (Schedule 8 & Drugs of Dependence)
Hamilton Medical Centre does not prescribe Schedule 8 medications, narcotics, benzodiazepines, or other drugs of dependence.

Requests for these medications will be respectfully declined without exception.

Weekend Appointments
At this stage, weekend appointments are available via telehealth only and are limited to existing patients. For face-to-face care on weekends, patients are advised to attend their nearest urgent care clinic.
