Bulk Billing & Prescribing Policy

We offers bulk billing for standard face-to-face or telehealth consultations (one problem/issue per consultation).

To be eligible for bulk billing, patients must:
Be registered with MyMedicare
Participate in the practice’s preventive care program, where eligible

Please note that bulk billing does not apply to the following services:
Dressings and wound care
ECG (Electrocardiogram)
ABI (Ankle–Brachial Index)
Medical reports (e.g. insurance, legal, or third-party reports)
Vaccinations (vaccine and/or administration fees may apply)
Ear syringing
Long consultations

Fees will apply for the above services. Patients will be informed of any applicable out-of-pocket costs prior to treatment where possible.

Please note that a prescribing restriction applies at this practice.
Our doctors at this practice do not prescribe:

Schedule 8 (S8) medications
Narcotics or opioid medications
Benzodiazepines
Drugs of dependence

Requests for these medications will be respectfully declined without exception.

This policy is in place to ensure safe, responsible prescribing practices and to support high-quality patient care in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
